Cookie Policy

Last updated 2 June 2026

We keep cookies to the bare minimum. CogDojo uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep your account secure — nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between page loads — for example, that you are signed in. Some cookies are strictly necessary for a site to work; others (which we don't use) exist for analytics or advertising.

2. The cookies we use

We use just two cookies, both strictly necessary to run the signed-in dashboard:

Session cookie

Strictly necessary

Keeps you signed in to the web dashboard so you don't have to log in on every page.

Expires when your session ends or you sign out.

CSRF cookie

Strictly necessary

A security token that protects your account against cross-site request forgery on signed-in actions.

Lasts for the duration of your session.

3. What we don't use

We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or cookies that build a profile of you across other websites. Because our only cookies are strictly necessary to deliver the service you asked for, they do not require a consent banner under laws such as the ePrivacy Directive and GDPR.

4. Managing cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings. Please note that if you block our session or CSRF cookies, the signed-in dashboard will not work, because they are required to keep you logged in and secure. The marketing pages of this site remain fully readable without them.

5. Changes to this policy

If we ever change the cookies we use, we will update this page and the date above. If we were to introduce any non-essential cookies, we would ask for your consent first.

Two cookies, both doing a job you asked for. That's the whole list — no fine print hiding a tracking network.
